Expected Launch Date: Although earlier reports had mentioned a launch in March or May 2025, the latest information points towards a possible launch around June 18th, 2025. Watch out for official news from Maruti Suzuki.

Expected Price: The Suzuki e-Vitara is expected to be priced between ₹ 17 Lakh and ₹ 22.50 Lakh (ex-showroom, India) across the different variants. The higher-end models with additional features and a bigger battery pack will probably fetch a premium price.

Variants: According to available details, the e-Vitara will likely be available in three main variants:

  • Delta: Expected to be the base model with the smaller battery pack.
  • Zeta: A middle variant with the bigger battery pack.
  • Alpha: The high-end variant, with the bigger battery pack and possibly all-wheel drive.

Battery and Range: The e-Vitara will feature two battery pack sizes:

  • 49 kWh: The battery will provide about 500 km of range on a single charge (ARAI claimed). It will come paired with a 142 bhp electric motor with 192.5 Nm of torque, propelling the front wheels (FWD).
  • 61 kWh: This bigger battery pack should also have a similar claimed range of 500 km. It will come with a more powerful 172 bhp electric motor (192.5 Nm torque, FWD) and possibly a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant delivering 182 bhp and 300 Nm of torque in overseas markets (the first India launch could be FWD only).
  • Battery type will likely be Lithium Phosphate Ferrous (LFP), which is safe and thermally stable. The vehicle will have DC fast charging (CCS-II port) capability, possibly charging from 20% to 80% in about 20 minutes using a 140 kW charger. AC charging capability will also exist.

Performance: The 61 kWh, FWD variant should have a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of less than 10 seconds. The AWD version, if launched, should be faster.
